A water management platform ready to move into production
Flowmetric is a climate tech platform that helps companies estimate, project and respond to their water risks and water footprint. Its approach puts water risk at the center of business decisions, not just consumption monitoring.
The Water Security Portal, Flowmetric's own platform for tracking water consumption and risk, was already running and proving its value with a first set of devices, and the next step was preparing it for large-scale deployment. Taking the portal into real deployments called for a more scalable platform, a clearer user experience and the ability to detect leaks and anomalies in real time across far larger volumes of data.
The project had two goals that worked together. First, that any team could read the state of consumption and risk at a glance. Second, that the system would flag anything out of the ordinary instantly, all of it on a data architecture ready to scale and to support future predictive analytics.

That way the team shifts from reviewing data to acting on each incident in time.
